Marjorie (Vannette) Wolters, age 93, was called to her heavenly home on June 11, 2026. Marjorie’s life story began on August 20, 1932. Her parents, Bert and Mary Brink taught their 13 children faith in God. She learned to appreciate the value of working together as her family tended their gladioli fields.
She married Jack Vannette Jr. in 1950 and enjoyed 51 years until they were parted in death. She was united in marriage to Rev. Lloyd Wolters in 2007 until 2022 when he passed into glory.
Marjorie confessed and lived her faith found in Christ all her life. She gave of all she had to her Lord, her family, church, neighbors, and friends. She will be remembered for her hospitality.
She was preceded in death by infant sons Kerry and Daryl, by both husbands, and a grandson, Caleb Vannette.
She is survived by her children: Jacie (Al) Kapenga, Vicki (Norman) VanMersbergen, Jim (Char) Vannette, Joie (Phil) Wolters, Jeff (Lynn) Vannette and Jon (Debbie) Vannette. Marjorie had the joy of 37 grandchildren and 105 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by Lloyd’s children: Lauri (Keith) Johnson, Jan (Bob) Burkum, Ed (Sandy – deceased) Wolters, Mary (Steve) Fridsma, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Surviving siblings are brothers Nate (Marilyn) Brink, Andy Brink, and sisters Gloria Huyser, June Van Farowe, Pearl (Stan) Vos.
She will be dearly missed and appreciated for her example as a Proverbs 31 woman. To God be all the glory!

The funeral service celebrating God’s goodness will be at 12 p.m. June 20, 2026, at Central Avenue Christian Reformed Church, 259 Central Ave. Holland, Michigan 49423 with Rev. Kevin Kornelis officiating. Visitation with the family will be at the church on Saturday morning, June 20 from 10 – 11:45 a.m. Interment will be at Pilgrim Home Cemetery in Holland, Michigan.
