HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 1, 2026) – A young man who had to overcome various family challenges was honored on Thursday night.
During a ceremony at Maranatha Church, ESCAPE Ministries bestowed its “Hero in Me” annual award to Zech Blue, a West Ottawa Dunes senior who has spent the past four years with the non-profit that helps teens in the Holland and Zeeland area.
Other finalists were Ano Mangwiro and Juan Reyna, and all three will receive a monetary prize to support higher education or career ambitions.
