GRAND HAVEN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 16, 2026) – A 58-year-old Grand Haven area woman, missing since Monday afternoon, has been found and is recovering from her ordeal.
Family members and friends hadn’t seen Kelly Marie Stewart since she was leaving for a walk around 3:30 PM, in the area of Pinewood Drive and Wintergreen Street, located in a subdivision off of 144th Avenue and Mercury Drive. The woman was attired in a black full-length sweater, black slacks, black hat, and black glasses.
On Thursday, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office disclosed that Stewart was found around 4 PM at a unoccupied residence off of 144th Avenue and Lincoln Street, about a half mile from her home, by neighbors who were aware of the situation through various media reports and contacted authorities immediately. She was taken to an “area hospital” for treatment of conditions related to exposure. It is believed that she had become disoriented at the time of her disappearance, and sought shelter at the residence.
