HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 19, 2026) – The arts take the spotlight on this last full day of winter along the Lakeshore.
A call for artists has been made by the City of Zeeland for its 2026 downtown mural project. It’s an initiative aimed at enhancing the district through creative, engaging public art, with contributors asked to submit original proposals for multiple outdoor locations that are cheerful, energetic, and visually engaging, with an emphasis on whimsical, abstract, or expressive styles, and those that encourage interaction and photo opportunities are especially welcome.

Meanwhile, the Holland Farmers Market is accepting applications for its annual Poster Design Contest. Both amateur and professional artists and graphic designers are invited to submit creations that reflect the market’s mission of connecting the community with high quality, local food, which supports the livelihoods of participating farmers and vendors. The winning artwork will adorn posters and merchandise for the 2026 season.
