HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 13, 2026) – The image for the 97th renewal of Holland’s Signature Event has been determined.
On Friday, Tulip Time Festival officials announced that “Legacy in Blue and Bloom,” by Jill Gates, was chosen as the official poster for the upcoming 10-day festivities, slated for May 1st through the 10th. A Michigan-based artist and educator, her watercolor work of tulips in a blue-and-white vase reflects the beauty and tradition of the festival, according to Executive Director Gwen Auwerda.
While prints of Gates’ creation, along with other merchandise featuring the design, will be available for purchase at the Tulip Time office (42 W. 8th St.) and online, the other 19 finalists in the First Bloem poster contest will be on display at the Holland Area Arts Council (150 E. 8th St.) for festival goers to vote on in the “People’s Choice” competition during the event.
