This evening, Saugatuck’s girls and boys are home to Galesburg-Augusta, with coverage from Greg Chandler around 5:10 PM on The Lakeshore’s 92 7 The Van, while Black River’s boys visit Sacred Heart, and Black River’s girls entertain Grand River Prep.

Hope College swept a pair of games with Albion last night. At DeVos Fieldhouse in Holland, Sydney Vis’ 18 points led the Flying Dutch over the visiting Britons, 80-44. At the Dow Center in Albion, Parker Hovey, Marcus Wourman and Orion Yant each tallied 12 points, as the Flying Dutchmen prevailed, 73-70. Hope’s teams conclude regular season play on Saturday afternoon, with the men at Calvin, and the women home to Trine.
Grand Valley State’s basketball teams are in Kochville Township this evening for games against Saginaw Valley State.

The NBA tonight returns to regular season action following last weekend’s All-Star festivities, with the Detroit Pistons meeting the Knicks in New York, and the Bulls welcoming the Toronto Raptors to the United Center in Chicago.

Dominik Shine had a goal and an assist, as the Griffins topped the visiting Cleveland Monsters last night, 3-2. Chicago comes to Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids tomorrow evening.
