Vincent Iannelli, age 89, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
Vince was born on September 20, 1936, in St. Joseph, MI, to Pasquale and Marian Evans Iannelli. He was educated in the Benton Harbor Public Schools and graduated from Kalamazoo College. Following graduation, he was employed by the Whirlpool Corporation, as well as several banks in St. Joseph and Kalamazoo. He then transitioned to the financial industry, in which he worked for over fifty years, most recently at Morgan Stanley from which he retired at age 81.
He was married to the former Jane Schaafsma in 1959, and they had two children, Nancy and David. During their over fifty years in Kalamazoo, Vince was active in the First Presbyterian Church, as an elder, a member of the Presbytery of Lake Michigan, and the Synod of the Covenant. He was also active in fundraising for Kalamazoo College. With his wife, Jane, and occasionally their children, he enjoyed bicycling, both here and abroad.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Josephine Brummel.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Iannelli; daughter, Nancy Iannelli and Glenn Rahn; son, David Iannelli and Elizabeth Edmunds; grandchildren, Katrina Zacha, Madeline Zacha, Adam Zacha; sister-in-law, Jean Jackson; and his extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Hope Church, 77 West 11th St. Holland, MI 49423.
Burial to take place in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
