Terry Lee Zeilenga, age 81, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
Terry was a loyal and faithful husband, father, and grandfather. He worked at Jewel Stores for over 27 years as a pipe fitter. He served as deacon and Sunday School teacher at First Reformed Church of South Holland, IL and elder at Faith United in Beecher, IL. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. He was loved and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Mary Zeilenga.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Zeilenga; daughter, Kristen Boersma; son, Randy and Jennifer Zeilenga; grandchildren, Emma Boersma, Kaylie Boersma, Evan Zeilenga, Lilah Zeilenga; brother, Arthur Zeilenga; sister-in-law, Darlene and James Wiers; nieces and nephews, Diane and Tim Kros, J.T. Wiers, Tim Wiers, Amy and Darren Hamstra, Scott and Tiffany Zeilenga, Eric and Hannah Zeilenga; and his extended family.
A graveside service is being planned for 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Pilgrim Home Cemetery on 16th St. Holland, MI 49423 with Rev. Mike Pitsenberger officiating.
