Sue Brown, age 61 of Zeeland passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday, January 31, 2026.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years Dave, her children and granddaughter, Tim Woudwyk (Everleigh), Tyler and Amanda Brown, and Kyle and Alivia Brown, her siblings, Emma Schering, Miney and Keith Potter, and George and Jan Flokstra, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ron and Robin Van Harn, Kathy and Jim Meindertsma, Mike and Janet Brown, and Chris and Jim Rietveld.
Sue was preceded in death by her sister Lois van Harn.
Sue graduated from Hudsonville High School and attended Davenport College to study accounting. She worked at ITC for 22 years in the accounting department. Sue loved to travel, go boating, attend concerts, go out to dinner and try new food, and always was looking to get the best out of every minute. She loved to decorate her house for all the different seasons, and she was always looking for a bargain while shopping. But what she enjoyed most was spending time with her family.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday, February 6, 2026, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. The funeral service to honor Sue’s life will be held at 11 am, Saturday, February 7, 2026, also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Beaverdam Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hungry for Christ
