Other such OK Conference match ups includes Holland Christian at Spring Lake, West Ottawa at Hudsonville, and Hamilton at Unity Christian. Grand Valley State swept a pair of games from visiting Northern Michigan at the Fieldhouse Arena last night. MacKenzie Bisballe’s 19 points led the Lakers to victory in the women’s opener, 70-47. Ethan Alderink had 23 points as the men topped the Wildcats in the nightcap, 85-80. GVSU welcomes the teams from Michigan Tech to Allendale tomorrow afternoon.
In state major-college basketball this evening, Michigan is at Michigan State, and Northern Kentucky is at Detroit Mercy.

Nic Dowd’s decisive goal in the third round of the shootout enabled the visiting Washington Capitals to edge the Red Wings last night, 4-3. Detroit is home to the Colorado Avalanche at Little Caesars Arena tomorrow afternoon, with broadcast time at 12:45 PM on WHTC Holland’s Cool FM.
Anthony Mantha had a goal and two assists in a four-goal Pittsburgh second period, as the Penguins disposed of the visiting Blackhawks last night, 6-2. Chicago hosts the Columbus Blue Jackets at the United Center this evening.

Norman Powell tossed in 21 points as the visiting Miami Heat held off the Bulls at the United Center last night, 116-113. The two teams have a rematch at the Kaseya Center in south Florida tomorrow evening.
