GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Corewell Health’s Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids will be growing.
In the next five years, the healthcare system says it will build a new 621,000 square foot facility with a new emergency department, as many as 16 operating rooms, and 180 private beds.
They will demolish the current buildings at 230 Michigan Street and 330 Barclay Avenue for the construction.
Corewell Health’s west Michigan president Dr. Josh Kooistra says they are “still in the early planning process.”
