Randy Groenheide, age 67 of Zeeland passed away suddenly Friday, January 9, 2026.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Connie, his children and grandchildren, Michael and Sheena Groenheide (Decklyn, Ella, Jaymes, and Knox), Rachel and Brett Jasch (Brinsley and Sawyer), and Brandon Groenheide, his brother Mark and Sara Groenheide, his mother-in-law Louise Bledsoe, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lee and Lynn Bledsoe, Cindi and John Sutton, Crystal and Dan Niswander and many nieces and nephews.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents Ivan and Donna Groenheide, his brother Ron Groenheide and his father-in-law Elbert Bledsoe.
Randy graduated from Hamilton High School, shortly after graduation he began his career as an electrician and in the early 90’s he started Grand Electric. He married Connie Bledsoe on June 20, 1980, they raised their family in Zeeland and were members of Faith Reformed Church. Randy loved spending time with his family (especially his grandkids) he loved going to their sporting events and having them up at the family cottage. Randy lived his Christian faith in his thoughts, works, and deeds.
Visitation will be 4-7 pm Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. The memorial service to honor Randy will be held at 10 am Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Family Church Ebenezer Campus, 5166 Ottogan St, Holland, MI 49423. Memorial contributions may be given to Family Church.
