HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Dec. 17, 2025) – What’s in a name?
On Tuesday, Holland Hospital disclosed the most popular names given to newborns during 2025. Of more than 1,200 children who came into the world at the hospital’s Boven Birth Center, more girls were given the name Charlotte than any other, while Theodore topped the boys’ list. This compares to the names Emma and Santiago that were the center’s most popular in 2024, and with Olivia and Noah across the country, as compiled by the web site babycenter.com.
Charlotte was followed for the girls by Aurora and Daisy, and Theodore was followed for the boys by Henry and Oliver. Holland Hospital officials said in a statement that, “These choices reflect a beautiful blend of tradition and individuality, reflecting timeless favorites and emerging trends in West Michigan.”
