ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The University of Michigan men’s basketball team shot a blazing 58 percent from the floor Wednesday night as they defeated Toledo 91-71 at the Crisler Center. The game was scheduled at the last minute after the Wolverines contest with NC State was cancelled due to COVID-19 issues in the Wolfpack program.
Michigan built a 44-26 lead at the half as they held Toledo to just 29 percent shooting in the first 20 minutes. Hunter Dickinson led five Wolverines in double figures with 18 points and seven rebounds. Isaiah Livers added 16 points. Mike Smith dished out seven assists.
Fourth-ranked Michigan State is off until Sunday when they host Oakland Sunday. Western Michigan will host Detroit Mercy Saturday.
