OLIVE TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Nov. 11, 20252) – It’s a popular class that nobody wants to use the lessons that can be learned from it.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting applications for another “Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events” class, slated for Tuesday, December 2, from 6-8 PM in the main conference room of the County Administration Building in West Olive (12220 Fillmore St.). The session will “offer thought-provoking and eye-opening strategies for surviving an active shooter event,” according to a OCSO statement.
Space is limited, and past instruction has been to a filled meeting room. While the class is free, registration is required through this online link.
