Marcia Bronson, age 88, was born on September 29, 1932 in Holland, Michigan, to Orlie and Gladys (Hubbard) Bishop. On October 19, 1951, she married Frank Bronson. Marcia worked for many years at Mead Johnson in Zeeland. After moving to Cedarville, she worked for Smith Realty and MI Limestone as an administrative assistant and safety director.
Marcia enjoyed keeping the traditions alive with her Beta Sigma Phi sorority sisters, Red Hat Society, and Holland High School Class of 1950. Frank and Marcia loved boating, snowmobiling, and antique cars. They enjoyed being active in the Antique Wooden Boat Show in Hessel each year. In her later years, Marcia enjoyed swimming, knitting, and being with her great grandchildren and her many friends. She was also an active member at Fellowship Reformed Church.
Marcia is survived by her sister, Barbara Miranda of Randallstown, Maryland, and Marcia’s children: Sally Reading of Hamilton, Michael (Moe) and Brenda Bronson of Holland, and Mariane Bronson of Winter Haven, FL. Grandchildren: Trisha (Cliff) Somers of Fremont, Mary (Dwayne) Trahan of Stanley, ND, Rachael (Matt) Basler of Hamilton, Joseph Reading, Tim (Lana) Kardux and Kurt Kardux of Holland. Great-Grandchildren: Kelsey, Conor Somers, Kyle Trahan, Jacob, Brody, and Hudson Basler, and Tresten, Katriel Kardux.
Marcia is preceded in death by her husband, Frank, and son Scott Bronson.
A memorial service will be held in the summer of 2021.
