CHICAGO (WKZO AM/FM) – A cold case investigation of a 17-year-old crime has resulted in the arrest of a Holland woman on 1st degree murder charges.
41-year-old Antoinette Briley is suspected of killing infant twins in Cook County in 2003.
The victims were born alive, but found dead by asphyxiation by waste removal workers.
The deaths were ruled homicides, but the case went cold, until recent DNA evidence linked Briley to the victims, possibly their mother.
She was arrested Friday in Oak Lawn, IL, and charged with the murders.
