OVERISEL TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 30, 2025) – One person is dead and one woman was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash southeast of Holland just before dawn on Tuesday.
Allegan County Sheriff’s Deputies and other first responders were dispatched just before 7 AM to the intersection of 46th Street and 140th Avenue. A southbound sedan apparently drove through a stop sign and was broadsided by a westbound SUV, with speed an apparent factor in the collision.
The man driving the sedan, 22-year-old Austin Kasinger of Hamilton, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman was taken to an unnamed “local hospital” for treatment of her injuries. The area was blocked off for some time to accommodate the needs of first responders, along with crash reconstruction investigators.
