JAMESTOWN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 17, 2025) – Two men were injured after a two-pickup collision south of Hudsonville on Tuesday afternoon, which ended with a nearby house suffering damage.
No names were disclosed by Ottawa County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Nicholas Knott after the incident, which occurred shortly before 3:30 PM at the intersection of 40th Avenue and Riley Street. That was where a northbound pickup drove into the path of an eastbound truck, which was pulling a utility trailer. The force of the crash caused both vehicles to veer off of the roadway and into a nearby residence, which sustained what Knott called “minor damage.”
The 50-year-old Byron Center man driving the northbound pickup was taken to a “local hospital” with serious injuries, while the other motorist, a 43-year-old Jenison man, was treated at the scene for bumps and bruises. Knott didn’t say if the residence was occupied at the time.
The incident remains under investigation.
