In the Midwest League playoffs last night, Cedar Rapids advanced with a 7-1 triumph over the visiting Beloit Sky Carp, so the West Michigan Whitecaps will host the Kernels in the opener of the best-of-three League Championship Series tomorrow afternoon at LMCU Ballpark in Comstock Park.
