So says Dr. Brian Long, Director of Supply Management Research with the Seidman College of Business at Grand Valley State University. He canvasses purchasing managers in the Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids markets to comprise his monthly West Michigan Current Business Trends report.
Long’s findings are in line with what his colleagues with the Institute for Supply Management, as well as Standard and Poor’s, have gathered.
