HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jul. 18, 2025) – It wasn’t “The Love Boat,” but a new exhibit that spotlights the time when cruise ships made Holland a port of call debuts at the Holland Museum on Friday.
“All Hands on Deck! Life Aboard the Georgian Bay” opens in the museum’s Focus Gallery, as Associate Director of Development and Communications Kate Leighton-Colburn explains.
This exhibit, to the west of the main entrance of the Holland Museum (31 W. 10th St.), will be on display during regular hours through January 5th. A special program on this exhibit, “Full Steam Ahead: The Golden Age of Great Lakes Passenger Steamships,” is slated for July 31st at the museum’s SparkLab.
