Gordon Mummert, age 88, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025.
Gordon enjoyed camping with his sons and attending their sporting and musical events. He was a fan of his sons and supportive of their passions. His participation meant the world to them. He worked for the Worden Company for 23 years prior to retirement. He was loved and will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Mummert this past April.
He is survived by his son, Michael and Ruthann Mummert; son, David and Michelle Mummert; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Daniel Sullivan; Gabrielle Mummert; Noah and Taite Mummert; Lauren Nery, Olivia Nery; great-grandson, Theodore Sullivan; sister, Francis and Gary Wolfe; niece, Tammy and Jeff Fallon; and nephew, Tim Wolfe.
Visitation with the family is 1:00-1:45 pm on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Langeland Sterenberg Funeral Home 315 E. 16th St. Holland, MI 49423.
Funeral services are the same day at 2:00 pm also at Langeland Sterenberg Funeral Home with Rev. Janelle Lopez-Koolhaas officiating.
Burial to take place in Graafschap Cemetery.
