Judith Suski Ballinger, age 77, of Holland, went to be with her Lord on June 26, 2025.
Born on January 18, 1948, in Flint, Michigan, Judith was known for her incredible creativity and passion for interior design. She spent many years operating Habersham Furniture Store in Traverse City, and she continued to enrich the lives of those around her through her work as a gifted interior decorator.
Following her marriage to James Ballinger in 2006, the couple settled in Birch Run. Following Jim’s passing, she moved to Holland to be near her cherished family. Throughout her life, she exhibited determination, hard work, and an unwavering spirit. A vibrant and loving presence, Judith was a devoted mother, Nana and Granny, roles she cherished deeply.
She was blessed with an infectious laugh and warm smile, never knowing a stranger and always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Her unwavering Catholic faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her in her love and service to others.
Judith is survived by her children: William & Claniece Bowles, Stacie & Mitch Van Kampen; step-children: Christopher Fifarek, Josh Fifarek, John & Amy Ballinger, Kenny & Ann Ballinger, Stephanie Ballinger; grandchildren: Will & Krista Bowles, Jordan & Leah Bowles, Austin & Calli Van Kampen, Alex & Brianna Van Kampen, Hanna Van Kampen; great-grandchildren: Rory, Zoe Jane, Samuel, Cole, Charlotte, Travis, Avery and Mason; siblings: Andrew Suski, Lisa Suski-Adams, Ed & Kathy Suski, Jim Suski; as well as extended family and friends.
Judith was preceded in death by her husbands: William Bowles, William Fifarek, and James Ballinger; and step-sons: Nicholas Fifarek and Spencer Ballinger.
A funeral mass will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Holy Redeemer Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, MI 48529. Visitation prior to the mass will begin at 11:00 AM at church on Wednesday. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
