Linda L. Tropea passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025 in Holland, Michigan, at her daughter’s home surrounded by her family.
During her 75 years of life, Linda was playful, independent, funny, courageous, and kind.
She loved her kids and grandkids, nieces, nephew, great nephews, and her dear sister.
She had a passion for travel & the world. In the last 20 years she visited more than 15 countries and took countless trips around the States. She loved the outdoors, specifically fishing, listening to the ocean, and swimming in Houghton Lake.
She was disciplined and successful and shared generously her resources & time with everyone she knew. She will be missed by her family; her joy for adventure lives on in her children and grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her son, Josh Tropea; her daughter, Laura Terpsma (Benjamin Terpsma); her grandchildren, Luke Tropea, Zack Tropea, Jacob Terpsma, Sidney Terpsma, Otto Terpsma; her sister, Suzanne Brown; and nieces, a nephew, cousins and family.
A celebration of life will be held 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the South Lyon Hotel 201 North Lafayette Street, South Lyon, MI 48178.
