OLIVE TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 21, 2025) – A 53-year-old West Olive man lost his life late on Tuesday night in a single-vehicle crash northwest of Zeeland.
No name was immediately disclosed by Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Michael Tamminga following the incident off of 104th Avenue near Stanton Street shortly after 10 PM. The motorist was driving his sedan northbound when it veered off of the roadway to the left, went into a ditch, struck a utility pole, and rolled over. The man, who was alone in the vehicle, died at the scene.
No other circumstances surrounding the crash were revealed as the incident remains under investigation.
