Four Hope College softball standouts have been selected to the 2025 All-MIAA Teams.
Junior Gianna Kerschbaum (Baroda, Michigan / Stevensville-Lakeshore) and sophomore Terin Maynard (Grand Rapids, Michigan / Jenison) received first-team accolades.
Senior Mady Pahl (Beaverton, Michigan / Beaverton) and freshman Jalen Fossitt Onondaga, Michigan / Leslie) claimed second-team honorees.
Kerschbaum earned her first All-MIAA distinction after contributing as an outfielder and a pitcher in her first season with the team. The biology major batted .327 in 16 games against league opponents, homering once and collecting 12 RBIs. Kerschbaum also went 4-4 in the circle with a 2.54 ERA, pitching a team-best 52.1 innings with 43 strikeouts.
Maynard claimed All-MIAA distinction in her first softball season with the Flying Dutch. The exercise science major and two-sport athlete hit a team-best .412 while batting leadoff in 16 MIAA games, totaling 21 hits and 17 runs scored.
Pahl earned her first All-MIAA honor. The biology major batted .404 in 16 MIAA games with 21 hits, 13 runs scored and 12 RBIs.
Fossitt hit .396 in 16 MIAA games, collecting 19 hits, 11 RBIs and five runs scored.
