HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 1, 2025) – While the 96th annual renewal of Holland’s annual signature event doesn’t officially begin until Friday, the stars of the show don’t keep any calendar, and neither do the Dutch Dancers.
Their final dress rehearsal is slated for Thursday evening in Centennial Park, as Becky Haveman and others will be going through routines that go back to the beginnings of this attraction 90 years ago.
Dutch dancing is more than just wearing wooden shoes, along with layers and layers of socks.
The Tulip Time Festival runs through May 11th.
