Jane was born in Minneapolis but lived most of her life in west Michigan.
Jane worked for Rainbow Grill, WFUR, and VanManen Oil for many years.
Jane had a passion for volunteering and served at Solve Homes and Revive Community Resale.
Anyone who knew Jane knew she loved to sing! She was a part of the Christ Memorial Chorus and relished singing the Halleluiah Chorus at the end of every Christmas program. The FBC Palmetto Chorus was her most recent adventure where she enjoyed learning various kinds of music. She experienced the opportunity of a lifetime when she was invited to sing with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir!
Janes “Happy place” was in the kitchen. She would cook and bake for everyone if they were sick or just needed a pick me up! She loved dining with friends and family but kept herself busy by cheering on all her grandchildren. She was at every golf meet, ball game, dance recital, diving meet, wrestling meet, tennis game, soccer game, musical, choir concert, band concert, and swimming meet that she could get to! No one clapped louder than her!
Jane embodied a servant’s heart by making everyone feel welcomed, seen, heard, valued, loved, and supported.
