The final round of girls/boys doubleheaders for the season highlight this evening’s prep hoops slate. At 5:40 PM, hear the Hamilton versus Holland Christian games from the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place with Greg Chandler on 99 7/1450 WHTC, or the Gobles at Saugatuck contests with Jim McKinney on The Lakeshore’s 92 7 The Van. Other twin-bills include Holland at Zeeland East, Rockford at West Ottawa, Watervliet at Fennville, Martin at Black River, and Calvary at Sacred Heart. Grand Valley State split a basketball doubleheader with visiting Wayne State in Allendale last night. Rylie Bisballe’s 19 points led the Lakers to an 85-67 triumph in the women’s opener. Carmelo Harris’ 18 points enabled the Warriors to take the men’s nightcap, 67-66. GVSU’s teams host Saginaw Valley State at the Fieldhouse Arena tomorrow afternoon.
In state major-college basketball this evening: Michigan State is at Michigan; Cleveland State is at Detroit Mercy; and Oakland is at Purdue Fort Wayne.

Karl Anthony-Towns scored six of his 32 points in overtime as the New York Knicks edged the visiting Bulls last night, 113-111. Chicago is home to the Phoenix Suns at the United Center tomorrow evening.
