LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Close to 500,000 hunters are expected to participate in this year’s firearm deer season in Michigan, which began on Sunday.
Some hunters found that obtaining a license on Saturday proved difficult, as the site that processed those had technical issues that also kept hunters from getting a deer kill tag as well.
DNR officials say that they will be taking the issue into consideration when they contact hunters during the season.
A temporary kill tag can be used until an official one arrives.
