Hope split a pair of basketball games with Calvin yesterday. At Van Noord Arena in Grand Rapids, Uchenna Egekeze had 16 points as the host Knights prevailed, 68-60. At DeVos Fieldhouse, Terin Maynard came off of the bench to score 14 points as the host Orange and Blue won, 77-65. On Wednesday evening, while the Flying Dutch meet the Belles of St. Mary’s in South Bend, the Flying Dutchmen are home to Trine in Holland, with broadcast time at 7 PM on The Lakeshore’s 92 7 The Van.
Grand Valley State split a basketball doubleheader in Houghton against Michigan Tech yesterday. Nicole Kamin and Paige Vanstee each had 14 points as the Lakers took the women’s opener, 69-51.
