Mervin lived a life dedicated to his wife, family, and the activities he loved. Known as “Big Papa” to many, he was always willing to lend a helping hand or give wise advice. He enjoyed giving of his time to others without asking for anything in return. His tenderhearted nature allowed him to have a genuine care and concern for others throughout his life.
He enjoyed traveling with Linda all over the country on his 1983 Honda Gold Wing and visited many states participating in GWRRA motorcycle shows and won many trophies over the years.
His biggest pride was his 1975 Ford F250 Highboy that he loved showing off at car shows. In addition to spending time with his family Mervin enjoyed hunting all types of game, shooting archery, going out for coffee with friends and landscaping his yard.
Mervin was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Harriet (Overweg) Morley and brother-in-law Keith Mac Donald.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Linda Morley; children Rebecca Ufkes (Scott Miller), Paul (Cyndie) Morley; grandchildren Ashley (Jake) Poll, Adam Morley and his fiancé Jocelyn, and Megan Morley. He is also survived by great-granddaughter Marlee Grace Poll; and siblings Harlan (Joyce) Morley, Mary Mac Donald, and Rick (Deb) Morley; and many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will take place.
