ROBINSON TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jan. 11, 2025) – A 60-year-old Grand Haven man lost his life just before dawn on Saturday after being hit by a pickup truck while walking along a road southeast of the Ottawa County Seat.
No names were immediately disclosed by Sheriff’s Sergeant Matt Wildfong following the 6:45 AM incident on Green Street east of 144th Avenue. The eastbound truck struck the pedestrian, and its driver, a 30-year-old Grand Haven man, told deputies he couldn’t see the walker due to heavy snowfall at the time of incident.
