Avery Zeinstra came off of the bench to tally 16 points as Grand Valley State’s women romped at Drury yesterday, 104-63. The Lakers face Ohio State in Columbus tomorrow afternoon.

In state major-college basketball yesterday, Western Michigan lost at North Dakota State, 98-62, and Eastern Michigan fell to Purdue Fort Wayne, 99-76.

Detroit meets the Bears at Soldier Field next Sunday afternoon, after Chicago battles the Minnesota Vikings in Minneapolis tonight.
