Kaylene Johnson age 77, of Holland, died Thursday, November 28, 2024 at her home.
She was a member of Central Avenue Christian Reformed Church. She started her working career as a Radiology Technician and then operated a daycare service out of her home for a few years before starting at Russ’ South where she worked for almost 30 years.
Kaylene is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ronald Johnson; children: Jack and Tracy Johnson, Tim Johnson, and Linda (Scott) De Wys; grandchildren: Andrew Johnson, Rachael Johnson, Joshua De Wys, Debra De Wys; siblings: Susan (David) Brondyke, Kraig (Nancy) Schaafsma, Kurt (Lynn) Schaafsma; in-laws: Duane (Julie) Johnson, Bonnie Johnson, Kenneth (Toni) Johnson; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 35 E. 16th St. Holland, with Rev. James H. Scholten officiating. Burial will be in East Saugatuck Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Samaritan’s Purse and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
