HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Nov. 13, 2024) – It’s a little looking back and looking ahead for Holland city leaders on Wednesday night.
During the biweekly 6 PM study session at City Hall (270 S. River Ave.), the Holland City Council will get an annual report and a general overview from Tulip Time Festival officials, along with reviewing the city’s long-term financial forecast that comes amidst some steady waters the Tulip City is going through right now, according to City Manager Keith Van Beek.
Council members will then hold a special meeting behind closed doors to go over a legal written opinion by City Attorney Ron Vander Veen. Such action is allowed under the state’s Open Meetings Act when the governing body of a public entity is discussing legal or personnel matters, or in collective bargaining or other contractual situations.
