UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 31, 2024) – Halloween may be just a night to scare up some fun, but there are real dangers to this All Hallowed Eve.
Safety experts such as Adrienne Woodland with the Automobile Association of America Michigan say that everyone needs to be alert as the time-honored tradition of trick-or-treating is renewed around dusk.
What youngsters wear, and how they go about collecting for the loot bag, is important.
Most communities say that informal trick-or-treating should run from around 5 PM to 7 PM. Downtown Holland businesses had its trick-or-treat event this past Saturday, while Main Street in downtown Zeeland will be blocked off from Elm to Church from 3 to 5 PM today for the 12th annual event that includes complimentary donuts and apple cider, along with a photo station and more.
