Nothing beats the ambiance of a fall Saturday afternoon when alumni come back to the alma mater to share stories and root their school on the gridiron. At Hope College, the Flying Dutchmen’s game against visiting Adrian is the highlight of One Big Weekend, where there are other athletic contests, as well as cultural and academic events, on tap, beginning on Friday.
Hope Football Coach Peter Stuursma wants his players to focus on the game at hand, but understands the hoopla that homecoming brings.
