ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 17, 2024) – A 43-year-old man is in the Allegan County Jail after an arraignment on charges stemming from a stabbing and shooting incident near Pullman over a fortnight ago.
County Sheriff’s Detective Lieutenant Mike Brown disclosed on Thursday the arrest of Anthony Steven Vincent by the Michigan State Police Fugitive Team this past Sunday. He had been wanted in connection with an October 1st incident in which one person had arrived at Bronson South Haven Hospital with multiple stab wounds, followed shortly thereafter by another person with a gun shot wound.
Brown explained that there had been an altercation at an undisclosed residence in which the first victim was stabbed, and the second victim was struck by a person shooting out of a fleeing vehicle. The unnamed suspect in the shooting turned himself in shortly afterwards.
Vincent, who was the key suspect in the stabbing incident, was arraigned on a charge of Assault with Intent to Murder. The case remains open, and anyone with any information is asked to contact Allegan County Central Dispatch (269-673-3899) or Allegan County Silent Observer (800-554-3633).
