HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 16, 2024) – Part of the cost of living and operating in downtown Holland will be determined on Wednesday night.
Public hearings are slated before the City Council votes on proposed increases in Principal Shopping District participation to 25 cents per square foot for property owners, expanding that district to include properties along East 6th and East 7th streets between Central and Columbia avenues, and increasing snowmelt and downtown parking fees by three percent.
All of those proposals were considered at a procedural first reading two weeks ago, according to City Manager Keith Van Beek.
The Holland City Council’s 6 PM meeting is in Chambers at Holland City Hall (270 S. River Ave.). An online link to the agenda and supporting documents is here.
