PRESS RELEASE (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 50-year-old Holland woman trying to learn how to drive a motorcycle landed in the hospital after a crash, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s authorities.
Police say she was practicing in a driveway just before 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020, on the 13600 block of Bryan Drive in Holland Township when she accidently put the motor cycle in gear. That sent her, on the motorcycle, across the street and crashing into a neighbor’s house.
She was not wearing a helmet, according to police, who said she went by ambulance to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
