The Hope College football team gained more ground in the latest NCAA Division III polls.
The unbeaten Flying Dutchmen moved up to three spots to 18th in both the American Football Coaches Association and d3football.com national rankings.
The AFCA Coaches Poll is conducted weekly throughout the regular season for every division and is voted on solely by coaches from across the country.
The D3football.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country, and is published weekly.
Hope (5-0, 2-0 MIAA) next plays on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 1 p.m. at Kalamazoo College in the renewal of the Wooden Shoes rivalry.
The Flying Dutchmen have won the last seven meetings and lead the all-time series with Kalamazoo, 61-35-6.
Hope tops Division III in scoring defense at 6.4 points per game and tied for 17th in scoring offense at 44.4 points per game.
