SAUGATUCK, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 23, 2024) – After dealing with some contentious issues such as short-term rentals and airport property disposition in recent months, Monday night’s biweekly Saugatuck City Council meeting appears to be somewhat more sedate in nature.
Among the items on the 6:30 PM session in the second floor meeting room of Saugatuck City Hall (102 Butler Ave.) is updating council’s agenda order of business to include reports from the Water System Operations Contract Advisory Committee and the Wildlife Management Committee, as well as extending the current waste services agreement with Republic Services through December 30th, in order to finalize plans for an increased recycling pickup schedule to bi-monthly. That current deal expires on October 1st.
