HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 19, 2024) – An annual event to help fight a scourge of the elderly is set for this Saturday.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s begins at Centennial Park in Holland (250 Central Ave.) at 10 AM. Rachel Dober is the event’s coordinator for the Alzheimer’s Association Michigan Chapter.
Check-in and entertainment begins an hour before the opening ceremony.
There have been over 200 participants and more than 50 teams already registered for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Holland Michigan, with two thirds of the $95,000 fundraising goal pledged. An online link to more information is here.
