Terry Rouwhorst, age 76 of South Olive passed away Monday, September 16, 2024.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Donna; his children: Kristine and Marc Jaarsma, Lisa and Jon Vugteveen, Steve and Callie Rouwhorst, and Michelle and Brian Schrotenboer; his grandchildren: Kendra Jaarsma, Brett and Aubrey Jaarsma, Lydia Jaarsma, Landen Jaarsma, Austin Vugteveen, Taylor Vugteveen, Cayden Vugteveen, Tanner Vugteveen, Dylan Vugteveen, Carter Vugteveen, Taylor Mc Kinnon, Levi Korhorn, Cortlyn Korhorn, Kyla Schrotenboer and Lucas Wabeke, Brinae Schrotenboer and Hudson Schrotenboer; his brothers: Dave and Kathy Rouwhorst, and Arlan and Heidi Rouwhorst; his mother-in-law Pauline Dyke; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Marlene and Roger Nyhuis, Jim and Elaine Raak, and Phyllis and Jim Vanderbilt.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Marian Rouwhorst, his father-in-law Gordon Raak, and his sister-in-law Sara Raak.
Terry proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and he was a charter member of Faith United Reformed Church. Terry retired from Grand Rapids Gravel, and in his retirement, he worked at Crisp Country Acres.
Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Faith United Reformed Church, 8270 120th Ave., West Olive. Funeral services with military honors will be held at 10 am Thursday, September 19, 2024, also at the church. Interment will be in Olive Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland or Faith United Reformed Church Mission Fund.
