Janice I. Van Timmeren
August 23, 1937 – September 2, 2024
Janice Irene Van Timmeren, age 87, passed on to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 2, 2024.
The youngest of 6 siblings, Janice was born to Dirk H. and Whilhelmina “Minnie” (TerMaat) Dykstra in Denver, Colorado on August 23, 1937. Janice loved to spend time with her family and spent many enjoyable afternoons and evenings beating them at cards. Janice and her beloved husband, Edward, loved to travel, visiting all 50 states, much of Canada, and Mexico. Janice loved to garden, growing many beautiful flowers around their yard and making their house a beautiful home.
She is deeply missed by her husband of 64 years, Edward “Louie” Van Timmeren; her children, Edward R. and Nicole (Folkening) Van Timmeren, and Eric D. Van Timmeren; as well as her extended family and friends.
Janice was preceded in death by her beloved siblings, Deana, Tilly, John, Gertrude, and Dorothy. May they enjoy a blessed reunion in heaven.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, September 5, 2024, in Zeeland Cemetery, (Original Cemetery-Southeast Peck Street Section), 220 E. Lincoln Avenue, Zeeland MI 49464.
