Jacqueline Yonker, age 59 of Hamilton, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, James; her children and granddaughter: Jacob and Amber Yonker (Lakelyn), Andrew Yonker and Harley Dykema, Reece and Ashley Yonker, and Jared and Maddie Yonker; her parents Calvin and Katherine VandenBrink; her brothers: Brian and Paula VandenBrink, and Pat and Darcie VandenBrink; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Jane and Duane Vis, Jill Yonker, and Joel and Dawn Yonker.
Jackie graduated from Hamilton High School. She married her husband Jim, and they raised their family in Diamond Springs and were parishioners at St. Mary’s Visitation Catholic Church. Jackie enjoyed volunteering at her church and was always looking to help others. She enjoyed walks in the woods behind her house, gardening and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
Vigil prayers and rosary will be at 4 pm Sunday, September 8, 2024, with the visitation from 4:30-7pm at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. The funeral mass will be held at 11 am Monday, September 9, 2024, at St Mary’s Visitation Catholic Church, 2459 146th Ave, Byron Center, MI. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland or St. Mary’s Visitation Catholic Church
