HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 23, 2024) – A 35-year-old Holland man was hospitalized following a collision on Holland’s North Side between his motorcycle and a SUV around dawn on Friday.
No names were disclosed by Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Matt Wildfong following the crash on 120th Avenue at Riley Street. Deputies and other first responders were dispatched at 5:38 AM, and they found that the southbound SUV, which was attempting to turn left, apparently didn’t see the northbound motorcycle approaching, causing a collision.
The helmeted biker was thrown from his machine and was transported to an unnamed medical facility with non-life threatening injuries, while the motorist was not hurt. The incident remains under investigation.
