HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland City Clerk’s office will be open until 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020, to aid in providing absentee ballots for those who wish to vote but want to avoid predicted crowds on Tuesday, Nov. 3, and those who want to return their ballots in person. A ballot box is outside of City Hall, 270 S. River Ave., for those who want to drop it off without going into the building or for those who can’t get to City Hall when it is open.
Learn more about the election online at cityofholland.com/167/Elections. Most people involved in the electoral process are saying this election may differ from those in the past because of the historic number of people voting, and results may not be available as quickly as before.
They, and leaders from Michigan’s West Coast Chamber of Commerce are also appealing to voters to be prepared and patient, as they participate in this hallmark of democracy.
